Davi

Davi is a 6 minute war/drama shortfilm where two brothers grow up in a small town, enjoying a childhood marked by their differences: Edgar prefers war toys, while Davi longs to be a doctor like their mother. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a conflict breaks out, forcing them to leave everything behind.

Coproducer & Modeling Lead

The team:
Júlia González, Nelo López Mario Durán, Rubén Fernández, Sergi Galindo, Isaac Lasheras, Alex Merino, Jeremy Ocaña, Adria Planells
Mentored by: Sergi Vizcaino
In this project, I was responsible for initiating the organization of the short film alongside producer Júlia. Once all the spreadsheets and documents were completed, I focused on building the brand of Brava Studios. After that, I began modeling some environment props and took the lead on the character creation process from the base sculpt to final rendering, including some grooming work. Our team consisted of 9 core members and over 60 external collaborators, all of whom we managed over the course of 2 years.

Characters
achievements
Davi stands out as the longest short film to date produced by students in the Animation degree program in LaSalle. While the average student film from this program typically runs around two minutes, Davi managed to triple this length, clocking in at six minutes. This impressive duration was achieved while maintaining a very high level of quality and a well-constructed narrative.
The short film has already been selected for more than 20 national and worldwide festivals, and won the award for Best Orchestra at the Filmets Film Festival and the best animated Film in the Sweden Luleå International Film Festival.
